What is permanent jewellery?
We use high-quality 14k gold-filled and sterling silver materials that are designed to last. Unlike plated metals, our gold-filled and sterling silver pieces are durable and resistant to tarnishing, so you can wear them every day without worrying about fading or discoloration. Enjoy long-lasting shine and beauty with minimal maintenance.
Does it hurt?
Not at all! The welding process is quick, painless, and safe. We use a precision micro-welder, and there’s no heat near your skin. You may see a tiny spark, but you won’t feel a thing.
What if I need to take it off?
Life happens! If you need to remove your jewellery (e.g. for medical procedures, surgery, MRI, etc.), simply snip the small jump ring with scissors or wire cutters. If you save the chain, we can re-weld it for a small fee.
How long does it take?
Appointments usually take 15–30 minutes, depending on how many pieces you’re getting. It’s a quick, fun, and memorable experience!
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are recommended to ensure availability, but walk-ins may be welcome at pop-ups or events. Check our schedule for upcoming dates.
Can I wear it in water?
Yes! Our gold-filled and solid gold chains are tarnish-resistant and waterproof, perfect for everyday wear — including showers, pools, and oceans. Sterling silver may darken over time but can be polished.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. We typically require clients to be 10 years or older, and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Will it set off airport security?
Nope! Permanent jewellery is delicate and does not need to be removed for TSA or metal detectors.
What if it breaks?
If your jewellery breaks at the jump ring from normal wear and tear, we offer one free repair within 30 days. After that, or for lost chains, a small fee applies.
